International & Regional Cooperation
International and regional cooperation is an essential component of Cambodia’s cultural development strategy. The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts engages with foreign governments, international organizations, and regional platforms to promote cultural exchange, safeguard heritage, and align national policies with international standards.

Education & Training
Education and professional training are central to the mission of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. International Collaboration & Partners

UNESCO Cooperation
MCFA works closely with UNESCO on the protection and management of World Heritage Sites, safeguarding intangible cultural heritage, and implementing international cultural conventions, including capacity building and reporting mechanisms.

Royal University of Fine Arts
The Royal University of Fine Arts provides higher education and professional training in visual arts, architecture, archaeology, music, and performing arts, nurturing Cambodia’s next generation of cultural professionals.

Secondary School of Fine Arts
The Secondary School of Fine Arts offers foundational arts education to young students, combining general studies with specialized training in traditional and contemporary art forms.

Trainings & Workshops
Trainings and workshops deliver short-term, practical capacity-building programs for cultural practitioners and institutions, focusing on skills development, knowledge exchange, and sector strengthening.

Royal University of Fine Arts (RUFA)
Established in 1965, RUFA is Cambodia’s leading public institution for arts and heritage education.
Trains several thousand students across faculties including fine arts, architecture, archaeology, music, and performing arts.
Produces hundreds of graduates annually, many of whom work in museums, heritage authorities, cultural institutions, and the creative industries.

Secondary School of Fine Arts
Provides early and secondary-level specialized arts education for students nationwide.
Enrolls hundreds of students in traditional dance, music, visual arts, and related disciplines.
Plays a key role in early talent identification and preservation of traditional art forms.

Trainings & Workshops
Dozens of trainings and workshops are organized each year at national and provincial levels.
Programs benefit hundreds of cultural professionals and practitioners, including heritage officers, artists, museum staff, and local communities.
